Learn about our Board of Directors.
.TORCH came together in 2014 after several local community members were tired of watching friends, neighbors and loved ones continue in the realms of their addiction. Watching people suffer from this disease was no longer an option and the decision to take a risk, pull together and work towards a solution was formulated informally at first and the desire and passion drove our mission. TORCH was incorporated and received non profit status in August 2014. Our Board members, committee members and volunteers have all been affected by this disease in one way or another. We are moms and dads, sons and daughters, brothers and sisters, grandmothers and grandfathers, friends and peers of those regaining their lives through the freedom of addiction. We provide prevention, education and support to our community by putting a face and voice on recovery. Our goal is to help reduce the stigma and barriers that inhibit others who seek recovery and to educate our youth about the consequences of this preventable disease. Our goal is to provide solutions and bring awareness that recovery works, there is a solution, lives do change and our community can heal from this epidemic we are facing today.
Thanks for the support that’s made it all possible!
